What is Street Gallery?
A free app for finding the things a city doesn't put on its map: street art, street food, and live performances that don't need a ticket. Everything is shared by people who found it first, pinned to where it actually is.
Is it free?
Yes. Street Gallery is free to download and use, and is supported by ads.
Where can I get it?
Search for Urban Street Gallery on the Apple App Store, available worldwide. Android is on the way.
What languages does the app support?
The app itself is in English for now. That doesn't limit what you share, though: post in whatever language you like.
Do I need an account?
No. Choose "Continue as guest" to browse and explore without signing in, handy if you'd rather not use your real account just to look around. When you want to post, save places, follow cities, comment, or report something, sign in with Google or Facebook.
How do I find what's near me?
The home screen shows street art and events close to where you are. You can also explore on the map, search by keyword, or browse a city's tile to see what's been found there.
What does "Still there?" mean?
Street art gets painted over, food stalls move on, performers pack up. On a post, you can tell everyone whether it's still there or it's over, so the next person doesn't walk across town for nothing.
Can I save places for later?
Yes. Save street art, events, and businesses into your own lists, and search within them. You'll need to be signed in with a full account.
Why can't I see anything near me?
Check that Location is switched on for Street Gallery in your device settings. If you're somewhere quiet, there may simply be nothing posted yet, which is a good reason to be the first.
What can I post?
Street art, and events: live music, street food, and performances like magic, juggling, dance, or comedy. Add a photo, tell people what to expect, and pin it on the map.
How does the location work?
The app detects where you are and drops a pin. You can adjust the pin before you share, so it lands exactly on the wall, stall, or stage.
Do I have to write in English?
No. Write in your own language. Locals often know best, and the app doesn't ask you to translate.
I run a food stall or perform. Can I have a listing?
Yes. Food businesses and performers can have a profile with opening hours, a menu, photos, and social links, and people can leave reviews.
Someone already listed my business. Can I claim it?
Yes. Send a claim request from the listing with a photo and your contact details. We review each request by hand before handing over ownership, so it isn't instant.
How do I report something?
Use the report option on a post, comment, reply, or business review and pick a reason. Reporting needs a full account (not guest mode).
Will the person know I reported them?
No. Reports are confidential. Your identity isn't shown to the person or content you report.
How do I block someone?
Tap the block option on their post or comment. You can see and undo your blocked list any time in Settings under Account → Blocked users.
What do you do with my location?
Posts you create are tied to a location so others can find them, and your approximate location is used to show you what's nearby. We don't track you in the background outside the app's core discovery features. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell your personal data.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. You can also use the Delete Account page on this site, even if the app is no longer installed. Your profile, display name, and saved lists are permanently deleted. Your posts and comments stay but are no longer linked to you. This can't be undone. If you signed in with Facebook or can't get into your account, contact us and we'll delete it for you.
